Who You Gonna Call? Customer Care!

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio Customer Care’s motto is “We’re here for you!”

The Customer Care team at GSWO is the front line for all of your general questions, registration support, and reserving council resource materials. They are the friendly voices answering the Customer Care Hotline (888.350.5090), responding to e-mails to customer service, monitoring the Volunteer Support Facebook Group, and are the smiling faces you see at the Customer Service desk in each location.

Customer care specialists provide support council-wide and can answer questions about any region, regardless of their physical location. Have a question or concern?  We’re happy to help!

Meet the Team!

Becky Murray
I’ve been employed with Girl Scouts in the Toledo office for the past ten years.  My life partner is Phillip, who coincidentally was my first boyfriend.  I have one son, and a granddaughter and grandson and my newest grandbaby born in October who are the apples of my eye!  I enjoy spending time with my family (of which I am the oldest of seven – six girls and one boy), watching my grandkids.  Reading, sewing, cooking and watching TV (especially the Hallmark channel) are how I usually spend my free time.
Cindy Cobian
I have lived in Erie Michigan my whole life. Most of my working life I have worked in Customer Service and 14 years as a bookkeeper for a grocery store. I have been working at an apple orchard in the fall for 14 years (rain or shine). My husband and I have 8 grandchildren and we love spending time with them. I have three dogs that are my little princesses and spoiled rotten. I love to craft in my spare time.
Kelli Rempe
Hi! I am Kelli Rempe and I have been with the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio for 8 years and work in Customer Care. I also was a Girl Scout for 13 years in the Lima region. I am married and have one fur-child, Zoe, who we spoil. I am a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Michigan fan, huge lover of all sports, the outdoors, and an avid runner. I look forward to assisting you!

Ruby McCardle
My husband and I live in Ada, OH while he finishes Law School. We have two beautiful daughters, ages 5 and 8. Before moving to Ada we lived in Utah for about 2 years. We moved to Utah from Colorado where I am originally from. I love the mountains and being outdoors. I also love to travel with my family and visit new places. My family and I have probably been to about 2/3 of the states, whether driven through or visited. I have also been to Mexico and Canada. Someday my family and I plan to travel overseas and visit other countries. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Melissa Bray
I am from the very small village of Gordon, OH which is in Darke county, population averages around 200.  I was a Girl Scout in the Treaty-Tri South service unit growing up. I moved out of Darke County when I was 18, and now live with my husband of 14 years, Larry, in Dayton.  We have a wonderful, blended family with 5 children that are all young adults now (almost empty nester), and one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law.   My passion is cooking for my family and friends!  I love music, singing, reading and quilting and taking cruises with my husband!  I have worked for Girl Scouts for seven years, and try my very best to provide top-notch customer service for our volunteers and employees.
Mary Sue Bahr
I have lived in the Greater Cincinnati area all of my life, in both Northern KY and Blue Ash OH.  I graduated from Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, KY with a degree in biology, but never really worked in that field.  Most of my working life was spent working for a marketing research company and a no-kill animal shelter as the shelter manager until I came to the Girl Scouts about three years ago.  My husband and I love to travel, and one of my goals is to visit all 50 states, with 7 states left to go.  We are avid Cincinnati Reds fans and have gone to Spring Training in Arizona a couple of times.  I am a former Hospice volunteer and have taken dogs and cats to visit seniors in area nursing homes once a month for over 28 years.  I am also a frequent blood donor and recently received my 36 gallon pin.
Christina Kidd
I’m Christina Kidd and have been with GSWO at the Cincinnati office for 5 years; holding many positions such as Membership Registration Specialist and Volunteer Registration Specialist, mainly been based in Customer Care.  I’ve been married for 13 years, have two dog “fur babies”, enjoy being outside as much as possible, especially 4-wheeling with the hubby, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking and having fun with family and friends.
Debbie Santel
I was born and have lived in the Cincinnati area my entire life. I graduated from the Northwest School District as did my children. I have been married for 32 years and have a daughter and son with 4 grandchildren. I enjoy camping with my family as well as family trips. I am a huge advocate for Pit Bulls and two fur babies of my own, one is a rescue from Adore-A- Bull. I also, donate blood to Hoxworth regularly and have been doing it for 26 years. I have been with Girl Scouts of Western Ohio for 27 years.

So if there’s something strange in your troop roster, who you gonna call? Customer Care ! They may not be ghost busters, but they are definitely here to help! You can reach them at 888.350.5090 or customerservice@gswo.org.
