Since 1926, February 22 has been celebrated as World Thinking Day, a day of international friendship for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the globe. It’s a day where girls connect with the worldwide sisterhood of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting, speak out on issues that girls care about, and make a difference!

And did we mention there’s a different theme each year with a badge? Pretty nifty!

World Thinking Day 2018

World Thinking Day is a way to celebrate with girls all over the world by doing the same activities. The 2018 World Thinking Day theme is “Impact.” Making an impact means having a strong effect on something or someone.

To earn the Thinking Day badge, girls must complete the challenges in the Impact Activity Pack.

Step 1 – Go Outside!

Hold the activities somewhere outdoors in your neighborhood or among nature.

Step 2 – Make an Impact!

Understand the power you have to bring positive change. Choose and complete one activity from each of the three sections: flame, two stars, and the compass.

Step 3 – Leave Your Mark: #ThisIsImpact!
