What Can Your Troop Do at GSWO Service Centers and Camps?
Does your troop need an adventure? Or just some bonding time all together? We’ve got some awesome facilities in western Ohio for your troop to reserve for their next meeting, overnight, or adventure!
You can stay for a few hours (there’s no cost for reservations for two hours or less!), for the day, overnight, or a long weekend. Whatever fits your schedule! Check out the different options at the properties across our council and reserve your space on DoubleKnot. You can go primitive camping, hang out in a tree house, reserve a room or a kitchen space for your next troop meeting (or bake off!), or connect with some other troops and organize a larger camp out. So many possibilities for fun!
Troop leaders should have taken Lodge Camp Training prior to reserving a lodge facility and Troop Camp Training prior to reserving a tent or outdoor facility. You can find details about these courses on our website by clicking on Learning Opportunities, scrolling down, and then clicking on the Camp header.
The following activities also require additional training and/or a certified instructor: challenge courses, climbing walls, crate stacking, archery, and slingshot courses. Please contact a member of our outdoor program staff for further information.
